Supporting our Adult ID/A and IBHS Clients.

Our Adult Intellectual and Developmental/Autism Services (ID/A) and Intensive Behavior Health Services (IBHS) offerings are direct supports that assist the individuals we serve to achieve positive outcomes and drive towards building independence. While the individuals receive the bulk of the services, we work with caregivers and entire teams on implementing the the treatment plans, transferring skills, and building upon the strengths of the individual and team members involved. Community services are provided in the individual's home, community, and school.

Our ID/A services and IBHS include:

ID/A Behavior Support:

Behavior Support services are offered to adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (aged 21 and older). These services seek to build upon the person's strengths to develop appropriate behaviors and skills to replace challenging behaviors. Assessment, behavior support planning, and ongoing supports are key to this service being a benefit for the person and their caregivers.

ID/A Communication Specialist

Communication Specialist services are offered to adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (aged 18 and older). The objective of these services is to establish a practical and functional system of communication for the individual, generally using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) techniques and/or devices. This service enables the person to have a voice in their environment.

IBHS Behavior Consultant

Behavior Consultation services are provided to children, youth, and/or young adults (aged 3 to 21). These services These services seek to build upon the person's strengths to develop appropriate behaviors and skills to replace challenging behaviors. Assessment, individual treatment planning, and ongoing supports are key to this service being a benefit for the person and their caregivers.

IBHS Behavior Health Technician

Behavior Health Technician (BHT) services are provided to children, youth, and young adults (aged 3 to 21). These services are sometimes offered in conjunction with Behavior Consultation to provide additional and more intensive supports for the person in their homes, schools, and/or communities. BHTs carry out the Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) and help to transfer skills to the treatment team.
